On Friday night, James & I made our way down to Luzern to meet some new lolita friends. It was a fairly stressful and costly trip as we took the train at the wrong platform and ended up at Schaffhausen instead of Luzern. Nonetheless, we finally made it to Sara's place and had a fun night playing with her hamster and watching weird youtube videos together. James was really impressed with Philipp's (Sara's bf's) airsoft rifle collection and his knowledge about them. Another sweet lolita from Germany, Anki, stayed with us at Sara's too. | On Saturday, we all got dressed up, and Sara helped us curl our hair with a flat iron hair straightener =) I ought to learn how to curl my hair on my own since I do have one of these gadgets at home. Then we headed out for the city tour, guided by Sara. We visited various landmarks such as the Musegg wall, the Collegial Church of St Leodgar Hofkirche, the Lion Monument which honoured the fallen Swiss guards of the French Revolution and the Chapel Bridge. Did little photoshoots along the way and finally rested our tired feet at a lovely cafe. It was a unique experience, quite unlike the lolita meets we have in Singapore, and it was a great pleasure to get to know the lolitas in Switzerland =) Returned home to Gutenswil at night to have raclette with Ally & Fab. It's been a wonderful weekend, and it saddens me that I have only 5 more weekends to go in Switzerland T_T Time flies when we're having fun! |
