PLANET SAPHIRYA
Saphirya is a planet covered completely with water. A tidally locked planet, only one face of Saphirya perpetually facing its sun star (commonly called the Hemilight) while the other remains shrouded in cold and darkness (Hemishade). An atmosphere, very much akin to planet Earth's envelops Saphirya. Rainfall is frequent in the Hemilight, and it helps regulate the temperatures in the region. Floating islands can be found in the Twilight zone, the most habitable halo band between the Hemilight and Hemishade of planet Saphirya. The floating islands hover above the vast oceans, stabilised by the Unobtanium (super conductor) found in them. Through the progression of time, merfolk and landfolk have both found means to enter each others' realms, for travel and trade. As Saphirya does not rotate upon its axis, there are no changes in day and night nor do they experience seasons.
