Anya is now estimated to be 3kg and in the cephalic position (she moved from the oblique position, yay!). However, because of my history of fits (vasovagal syncope), Dr Ee has suggested C-section instead of natural birth in case of complications. I'm given a choice, but I feel really torn as to which to choose.
A part of me wants to experience what natural birth is like, and that Anya being in the right position and weight (despite my gestational diabetes) seems to point me towards this option... However, another part of me is anxious that not selecting C-section may put her at risk if I were to luck out and get a fit.
I've tentatively selected the C-section option to be safe and requested for 22nd March to be the special day, but we shall see how things go...
Last Saturday, hubby and I went to Hafary and Futura to take a look at the stone selection for our kitchen tops. James is very involved in the renovation process at this point and we are both hoping to move into our new place after my confinement is done. The quartzite selection is unfortunately small ; we are currently thinking of using Taj Mahal or Mont Blanc. I was hoping for something whiter with grey streaks; like those used at the baking classes I have attended. Food looks more classy photographed against the marbly texture :P
On Sunday, hubby did my 38th week maternity shoot. We bought random mix of hydrangeas, eucalyptus, baby's breath and what looks like mini pineapples (James insisted) to form a bouquet. I was pretty pleased with how the shoot had turned out =) My inspiration on the right > www.pinterest.com/pin/46021227435638356/ Here's the bonus mini pineapples. They feel like prickly thistles against the skin, though they weren't too obvious in the bouquet. |
It's a scene of wreckage as things have been hacked but new stuff have not gone in yet.
The grey streaks in front are actually dangling pipes and wires, but they make for quite an interesting effect.
